All day you will be accompanied by the most dazzling views! A great day out for the family or maybe a good time to rekindle the romance. There will definitely be numerous photo ops. Click here to find more information.

2 – Go to the old town of Javea, visit the sights and have some delicious tapas in one of the many tapa bars.

Through history this region has been occupied by a whole range of cultures, going from Greeks, to Romans and Moors.  The centre is beautiful with its houses and little ‘palacetes’  from different eras and in different styles, going from gothic to modernist. The 16th century gothic palace of Antonio Bañuls houses the archeological and etnological museum. Walk by the town hall with its neoclassical façade, and the 20th century Mercado de Abastos and the modernistic church of Nuestra Señora de Loreto, resembling a boat.

3 – The port of Javea houses a lot of nice boats and the Club Nautico where you can engage in numerous watersports.

Around the port you will notice the small old fishermen houses giving the area a cosy and authentic atmosphere. There are many bars and restaurants in this area, one of the buildings on the promenade that might catch your eye is the ‘Casa del Cable’ of which the pillars where conserved when constructing the new exposition hall.

4 –  Arenal Beach

If you want to have a beach day, the sandy Arenal beach is the perfect spot. With some palm trees for shade, the wide promenade with a great array of terraces and shops, a fun day is assured. At the far end of the Arenal promenade you have a viewpoint with great views over the bay.

5 – Montgó Natural Park

The Montgó mountain is a beauty from a distance but it is also a wonderful natural park where a net of well marked paths make a great walking area. A fantastic day out to experience some of the Costa Blanca’s indigenous fauna and flora.  You’ll be amazed by the vivid colours of the wildflowers, butterflies and birds.

Most of the walks take some time, so it’s best to take water and a light snack with you, but the view from the top makes the effort worthwhile.  A good place to enjoy the peace and quiet and to get in touch with nature.

Enjoy your time in Javea!
