AMERICAN SCHOOL OF VALENCIA
Nestled in the foothills and fresh air of the Sierra Calderona Mountains, the ASV has an open and spacious campus. There are ample outdoor spaces with three parks, an artificial turf playing field and a swimming pool. Since 1980, ASV has been offering an international and rigorous educational program from Nursery to 12th Grade. ASV also offers exciting activity programmes such as Model United Nations, international student exchanges, the IB program and a variety of extracurricular activities. ASV’s mission of preparing globally-conscious, life-long learners in an innovative, collaborative and caring environment provides the cornerstone of their academic programme. The High School academic programme draws on elements of the American system and the IB and serves both international and Spanish students. Students graduate proficient in at least two languages, English and Spanish.

BRITISH SCHOOL OF ALICANTE
Located on Spain’s famous Costa Blanca, King’s College, The British School of Alicante provides a British education to a dynamic international community. Some 15% of families at the school are expatriates. Educating children aged 3-18, the school began as a parent co-operative in 2000 and established close links with King’s from the start, including the academic development and establishment of IGCSE courses. In September 2003, the school officially became part of King’s Group and now educates more than 1,000 pupils. The school has excellent science laboratories, computer and ICT equipment, music rooms and performance halls, along with a wide variety of sports facilities and equipment.
CAMBRIDGE HOUSE COMMUNITY COLLEGE IN VALENCIA
For over twenty years, Cambridge House has offered education to Spanish and international students with the aim of creating a stimulating and home environment from the age of three. The school follows the English educational system, giving students the possibility of studying at universities in the UK, Spain or elsewhere. The school currently has approximately 1300 students. Of these students, 5% are English with the remaining percentage being made up of other nationalities but primarily Spanish. Gaining entry into the Infant school can be difficult as it is very popular, and the school is currently oversubscribed.

CAXTON COLLEGE IN VALENCIA
Caxton College is a mixed private school offering a complete education to students between 1 and 18 years of age. It was founded in 1987 by the Gil-Marqués family, with the aim of providing Valencia with a School for both local and international children who want to study the British National Curriculum in a multicultural environment. The school was awarded certification as a British School Overseas, with the highest possible mark of “Outstanding” in all areas, after a voluntary inspection carried out by Cambridge Education and NABSS (National Association of British Schools in Spain). Most of the students at Caxton College are Spanish. However, an increasingly large percentage is international, with 20% of current students coming from overseas. Many of these international students live with their own families, while others board with host families.

LADY ELIZABETH SCHOOL IN BENITACHELL – CUMBRE DEL SOL
Lady Elizabeth School is a British International School in the Province of Alicante and is part of the LAUDE Group. The Primary School is a Coeducational Day School for pupils from 1 – 11 years. (Pre Nursery to Year 6) located in Benitachell. Jávea, Benissa, Denia, Calpe and Benidorm, are located nearby and as with the Secondary School, the Primary School is serviced by the Alicante and Valencia airports which are only an hour away. The facilities at the Primary School are second to none with a brand new purpose built building being completed in September 2009. The facilities include: 30 large Air-conditioned Classrooms, Library, Psicomotricidad Room, Computer Suite, Music Studio, Sleeping Room for Infants, Multi-Activity Room, Large Dining Area, Sports Court, Indoor Heated Swimming Pool, Indoor Gymnasium, and Outdoor Play Areas for Different Age Groups. The Secondary School is currently situated in Llíber but in September 2018 will be moving to a brand new school on the Cumbre del Sol, Benitachell next to the Primary School. The Secondary School is a Coeducational Day School for pupils from 11 – 18 years (Year 7 to Year 13). All students follow the British Curriculum strengthened by the opportunity to also study the Spanish Curriculum. There is boarding accommodation available for students aged 14-18 years.

LOPE DE VEGA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IN BENIDORM
Lope de Vega International School is a bilingual private centre with a Students Residence open the whole year. In Infant Education 70% of classes are taught in English. Children learn the English language naturally with the reading and writing methodology used in the United Kingdom. The Primary and Secondary Education programmes are taught in English and Spanish with French added in the first year of secondary. Secondary also students take part in the European Erasmus Programme in collaboration with schools and colleges in other countries. It is at this stage that they are able to start the Dual Baccalaureate consisting of the Spanish qualification and US “High School Diploma”.
SIERRA BERNIA SCHOOL IN ALFAZ DEL PI
Sierra Bernia School is a privately owned coeducational day school offering British education from 3 to 18 years to pupils of all nationalities. It was founded in 1973 and, as the longest established British School on the Costa Blanca. Situated on the outskirts of Alfaz del Pi, an impressive village with a high foreign resident population, the school has easy access to the main Benidorm/Altea coast road and the motorway. Pupils travel from as far as Javea, Moraira and Calpe to the north and Campello, San Juan and Alicante to the south. A coastal school bus service is provided between Calpe in the north and Benidorm in the south, stopping at various points en route. The school has a Science Laboratory, an Art Room, Library and Computer suite. There is adequate playground space for all ages, shaded areas and sports installations. Sierra Bernia School, with well qualified, dedicated, and experienced teaching staff, is fully authorised by the relevant Ministries for both foreign and Spanish nationals. The school undergoes regular inspections by the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS), which ensures that the school correctly follows the British system of education (with an additional Spanish programme of studies), and is run along similar lines to a small private school in the UK. The school is an associate member of the Council of British Independent Schools in the European Communities (COBIS) and the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS).
ENGLISH SCHOOL OF MUTXAMEL
The English School opened its doors in September of 2002 in response to a growing demand from parents within the area. In January 2003, the school obtained British Council certification and in February of the same year, authorisation from the local education authority (the Generalitat Valenciana). The school is situated within a quiet residential area of Mutxamel, with easy access from the various zones within the area (Campello, San Juan, Villafranqueza, San Vicente, Torrellano, central Alicante, etc.) The English School is a British school, offering the British national curriculum, where children of different nationalities work together in a multicultural environment (although the majority of families are of Spanish nationality).
XÁBIA INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE
Xàbia International College is a private school in Jávea for students from 2 to 18 years. The school was founded in 1994 to provide a quality education based on the English National Curriculum, within an international environment. The school comprises Foundation, Primary and Secondary sections. The school offers continuity of education from Nursery to University. The current roll of approximately 290 students is made up of children of some twenty nationalities. The school is fully authorised to admit students of all nationalities and to convalidate their studies in line with the Spanish Education System. Teaching Spanish language and culture is an important part of the curriculum throughout the school.
